swap ideas about keypals

Post by Jasminne » Wed Aug 06, 2003 7:25 pm

Hi everyone, :)

I'd like to hear from anyone who uses epals/keypals. I've been working with epals for two years now and I'm very glad with the results. My students are very enthusiastic about this project and they're very eager to write cards/ letters, etc. We're also exchanging class mascots and small gifts.

I hope you have similar experiences. :) Could you share with me, please? :?:

Dear Jasminne,

Hi, I am Sarah.
I teach English in a senior high school in Taiwan.
My students are 18 years old.
I am looking keypals for my students.
I was wondering are you still interested in cross-cultural email exchange project?
It seems to me that you must be sincere, freindly and liberal-minded.
I myself am very fascinated by meeting new friend from farway country.
My studetnts will be highly-motivated.

Can I expect your response?

:) Hello!

Thank you for your letter and very nice words! It's great to have epals in other countries and learn from them.
I'm sorry but my students are only 7-12 years old as I teach in a primary school. But if you wish, we can stay in touch and write to each other.

If you're interested, please mailto:[email protected]

Waiting for your reply, :!:

Best wishes from cold and snowy Poland,
Jadwiga
