How can a teacher keep up with all the new vocabulary and expressions that appear in the area of business English discourse (BED)?

Today I learned thse words:

biopreneur
infopreneur
intrapreneur

........
Is there any website where new business language is being posted?

Hi - I don't know of any specific site, but you're not alone in the boat. A bit frustrating for me are the company-internal words that they either heard somewhere and try to use, or create themselves (these -preneur words seem along the same lines).

The big topic at our company now is 'lessons learned' - really sounds more like a topic for parent-teacher day and not for a multinational.

They also say 'assys' for 'assemblies' (in production).

And I just can't convince them (Germans), that no, we don't say 'handy' for 'mobile/cell phone' in English, and no, a 'beamer' is really not the word we use for a 'multi-media projector'.

Tell your students you're a linguapreneur and know better Razz
