Third International Wireless Ready Symposium: Digital Technologies in Language Education
Friday, 20th February 2009, NUCB Graduate School, Nagoya, Japan


There will be a third Wireless Ready one-day event examining the role of wireless learning technologies and language education on 20th February 2009 in Nagoya.

Proposals are currently being accepted for papers in the following or
related areas:

- interactivity, collaboration and feedback in CALL
- wireless learning environments and language learning
- Interactive Whiteboards in the language classroom
- Virtual learning environments and language education (Second Life)
- Web 2.0 and language learning
- interactivity and CALL
- collaboration in the technology-enhanced classroom
- improving feedback in CALL technologies
- computer aided assessment and testing
- case studies on podcasting, wikis, blogs, photosharing, online video
- mobile learning
- one-to-one laptop programs
- ICT policy and language learning in wireless environments
- traditional versus emerging wireless technologies in CALL
- teacher training and professional development using wireless technology
- wired versus wireless learning environments
- other proposals related to the conference title

Abstracts of approximately 250 words should be sent as Microsoft Word
attachments by December 20th 2008, citing your name, institutional
affiliation and short biography (50 words) to:
