Hello Everyone,
I am an American living in Germany and am about to start tutoring and teaching English.
I would like to get an idea of how much I should charge for lessons and for tutoring.
I don't want to charge too much, and don't want to be so cheap that I cant afford to be in business.
I have TEFL training through i-to-i
Would appreciate any helpful advice.
Thank You! |

I don't know if prices are the same in Germany as they are in Spain, but here you can start at around 15 euros an hour or a bit more. Raise it as soon as you can, because if you're charging more you get more serious people and also they treat you better (plus you get more money).
I recommend you look for other teachers in your area and start out offering classes for the average of what they're offering. And see what happens.
Have fun,
Daniel. |
