Encouraging teachers to keep "learning"

Post by Michel34 » Wed Jun 23, 2010 4:59 pm

I'm wondering if there are any international contests out there for English teachers willing to participate as part of their "goal" list.

I work at a school in South America where every English teacher has the same problem: they graduate and then there's ... nothing! There's little in terms of challenging them to do something other than teach an advanced conversation group or study for the TOEFL or other international exam.

If you know of any contest in which these teachers will feel motivated to participate because there are other teachers in the same position they're in then please let me know.

I appreciate any help I get!!
