Textbooks for better / easier teaching

Post by MikeV » Thu Feb 24, 2011 12:42 pm

Good textbooks that help motivating students are sometimes difficult to find. I think what teachers need are textbooks that reflect what happens in their students’ lives. If the textbooks catch the interest of the students, they are sure to be more willing to work in class. If the subject is interesting, the learners are interested. Having appropriate textbooks in a class can be great for students, but for teachers as well. Therefore it has to be structured properly so the teacher can follow units without too many problems. If the units are linked to each other, it is even easier to progress through it. I think that when the units are linked, you can also go back and forth in the different activities without problems.
