Teaching Assignment in June

Post by church_lady » Tue Apr 17, 2012 11:10 pm

Hi,

I'm about an hour from completing my online TESOL training (I'll comment on that later), so I decided to do some volunteer work this summer at the library. They've given me a free room, and I'm now advertising to teach up to 8 people once a week for 6 weeks.

I'm going to spend the next month or so putting together a curriculum where the student will be able to see a measureable difference in speaking and understanding certain concepts. It being summertime, I really feel I have to make this good, as people on Sunday can and will find better things to do.
Looking forward to sharing how it goes!:)

Looking forward to your comments on your online course as well. Good luck. You are very ambitious and it will be a great benefit to your students I'm sure.
