Captionless comic strips
Does anyone know if there are any good web resources where I can find some captonless comic strips? My kids love comics and I think it would be a fun activity for them to write their own captions.
I'd have them draw their own comics, but I don't have time for that during class.

easiest way to get captionless comics
Just get some Sunday comics from the paper and white out the captions.
Or you can Google clip art comic strips, print and wite out.

I've been looking for that, too, but alas, no luck. What you could do is grab some webcomics instead of paper comics and white those out, if they're simple enough. Stick-figure style like XKCD. Acknowledging copyright, of course!
Edit: ToonDo is free, though it's not so much comics as cartoons. No drawing skills required! http://community.prometheanplanet.com/e ... art-1.aspx - a useful link.

Like Sally said you can just copy it, white out the text and make copies. It works quite well. http://www.eslinsider.com/how-to-teach- ... s/comics-1
