The Milestones for Mastering Grammar are ...

Imagine a new elementary student of English with the desired goal of being able to speak and write in English using accurate grammar.

The student will have to go through a series of milestones to reach the desired goal.

A list of these milestones could include (in no specific order):

1. Taking lessons to learn English grammar,
2. Taking a series of exercise questions to confirm his/her understanding of these lessons,
3. Understanding the words/terminology used for talking about grammar,
4. Understanding the rules of spelling,
5. Having a list of irregular verbs ...

Can you think of any more milestones to add to this list?

One of the contributors named Kennan has written a lot on all aspects of learning English but there is one on grammar. Just type 'Kennan' in the search box at the top and you read all 45 of his posts
