Hi tanderb,

Does the adult just want to be able to hold conversations, read, or what are his goals exactly? Does he have enough time to work through books or does he need a conversation partner? There are quite a few online resources, but it does help to know what the goals are.

If you're looking for an online teaching site that covers a good number of skills, I have heard and tried out Memrise, and I really liked it. https://www.memrise.com/

There are plenty of different subjects, topics, and languages, as well. Hope this helps.
