I have been teaching for a month now in S. Korea and have been using the textbooks "New Parade" for the primary students and "Balloons" for Kindergarten. They seem ok, but I am being asked for suggestions on new textbooks from my boss. I teach kindergarten through to 12 year olds. Could anyone recommend some good books that cover those ages??
Thanks in advance...

Hi, I've been using the Finding Out series of texts that are written by David English House (based in Japan, I think). There are various levels that start with basic phonetics and move up to cover sentence-making and other basic types of grammar. They are well-tested in the Japanese classroom so they should be very effective for you, too. They also come with CDs for listening practice. |
