What to charge for a large (40 p) class?

Post by elfinbob » Mon Jun 29, 2009 4:30 pm

Hi I have recently been asked to give a quote for a 50 week esl course for 40 students, 4 hours a day. Do you have any idea what a good price would be or how to calculate this?

thanks

Hello,

I assume you are not in the US. I can't think of a school here that would offer a class like that. If it is here, I would charge at least $40 an hour. I get paid about $35 an hour for classes of about 20 for a community college continuing ed class in Austin TX. Good luck with that. It sounds like a good situation.
