| I'm the content specialist for a class who wants to create an interactive video for hispanics learning English. Initially I have to come up with a short (maybe 1 minute) scene to pitch to our client. The idea is to have two protagonists, one who doesn't know much about English and doesn't have very good language learning skills, and the other who is the opposite. I'm trying to come up with a scene which is funny which illustrates the trouble that someone who doesn't understand the social or linguistic conventions in America can get into. I'm not having much success however. I've thought of having the two guys show up for a job interview, the former being late, the latter on time. But I can't make it funny or interesting. I need a hook. Ideas anyone? |
