auto-evaluation in high schools

Post by JEEPY » Thu Feb 17, 2011 3:00 pm

ey guys, I was wondering about the effects of self-evaluation in High schools. obviously, this is an evaluation technique that is wide spread for elementary school teaching that works pretty well. However, I think that in high schools it might not me as good a teaching and evaluating tools as some say. Indeed, students don'T want to be "infantilized" anymore... Students want to be able to do the stuff on their own. Also, at this age students tend to grant less importance to those evaluation forms and thus rendering them useless... What do you think about those?
