Canada has a federal election coming up in early May and I have just added some great ESL lesson plans on www.LessonPlansCanada.com
There are two levels (Level 3 and Advanced - basically, grade 7 and 8 reading levels) of "Let's Vote!" which explains the voting process in federal elections and three levels (Levels 2, 3 and Advanced - grade 6,7,8 reading levels) of "How Canada's Government Works" - a basic description of our system of government.
