Tips for a new school please :)

Post by JamesAtRealize » Sun Jun 27, 2010 5:02 am

Hello Everyone, this is my first post in these forums!

I've joined because I recently started my own English school in Sannomiya Japan, and I've been having a bit of a rough time being attractive to businesses.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips, hopefully from experience, about getting some attention from businesses. Ultimately getting a contract with them to teach their employees regularly, at my location.

I've been compiling a list of useful tips for other markets and about starting an independent school in general. I hope to share it with everyone once it's more compete!

Here is my website, in case it helps with any tips:

Thank you! I hope to be able to help someone else in my situation one day! :D

Hello!

Have you heard of this book?:

http://www.amazon.com/Start-Run-Esl-Tea ... 1551806495

I bought a copy off of Amazon about a year ago when I was considering setting up my own business at some point in Argentina. It comes with a disk for your PC to help organize your thoughts and ideas, charts, and so on. Moreover, it is full of a lot of good and practical advice, large and small details, including budgeting, etc.

I hope that this helps! Best of luck! :)
