I am looking for a position as a DOS in Spain, Italy or Germany. I have a CELTA, plus MA.
I recently noticed that a lot of schools are now asking that's its a requirement for the teachers and managers to speak the local language. I wondered what everyone's experience of this is.
I am happy to learn Spanish further, as I already have an OK level, but I just wanted to know if you guys think it's essential in order to get a position as a DOS.
