Hi! I was recently hired as an ESL assessment coordinator for an acupuncture and massage college. My job is to evaluate incoming second language student to assess whether or not they have sufficient English language (speaking, listening, reading and writing) in order to be successful in our program. Currently many students have failed due to insufficient English.

Do any of you know a cost-effective and reliable assessment that I could use? I was considering TABE CLAS-E, but it is quite expensive. Thank you in advance for your assistance and suggestions!
