e-Portfolios or designing own web-site for beginners

Post by Thomas_Pynchon » Sun Sep 28, 2014 11:35 pm

I was looking at the following mind map which gave me the idea of having students (CEFR level A1 or below) build very basic e-portfolios that would include assembling a personal website, selecting certain tools/apps/social media (which could be from the mind map below) to include and that we could work on together.

Students could also have a class edu-blog that is commented on from other classes.

Have any folks here experimented with something similar?

I had in mind Arabic learners, in particular Saudi arabia male students 18-22 years old, 16-18 students in a class, all have computers, ipads, smart boards in class. Using Canvas LMS.

Thanks
