Could anyone guide me in the right direction to find materials to teach about World War I and II to a group of ESL 8th graders? I know Anna Uhl Chamot had a series called Language Development Through Content in the area of History. Were World Wars included?
Thanks for your help. |

| Try Oxford UP. They have several readers. And they have a website. |

| Speaking of websites, the U.S. Library of Congress has a website aimed at Junior High/High School kids which my adult students really like. It's called "America's Library" and has several sections. There is one called "Jump Back in Time" located at http://www.americaslibrary.gov/cgi-bin/page.cgi/jb |
