Problems faced by Lithuanian learners of English

Post by cyberus » Sat May 17, 2003 11:03 pm

Hi,
Can any TEFL teachers out there please help me? I'm looking for information on specific problems facing Lithuanian learners of English. I haven't been able to pick up some recommended books (such as Learner English by Swan, or Teaching English Pronunciation by Kenworthy) but am unsure if they'd have info on this anyway. So does anyone know of any sites on the internet that might have this information? I've found enough info on the sounds of the Lith language, but nothing about the problems Lith speakers face (pronunciation and otherwise)... Oh, I need this for an assignment that I want to write tomorrow!

I'd be REALLY grateful if anyone has any suggestions,
Thanks!
