I have designed a pronunciation software program that I believe will be of immense value to language learners, the deaf and other people with oral/aural communication difficulties. I am looking for a grant to develop the product to the commercialization stage. All of the funding opportunities I've investigated are limited to educational or non-profit organizations, require U.S. residency, the R&D work must be done in the U.S., and they don't fund development of products
for commercial marketing, none of which applies to me.
If anyone could advise me of any resources I might explore, that don't have the above eligibility requirements, I would be most grateful to hear from you.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

That's a tough one. I think SuperDuper.com has a program for helping people who want to develop speech therapy resources. Linguisystems.com may also. I don't know how much funding they provide, or whether they just do the publishing and marketing. It's worth a try, though. You also might try contacting ASHA.org (the American Speech-Language Hearing Association). They might be able to steer you in the right direction.
Good luck.

EH,
thanks for your response. The SuperDuper.com website you recommended does not exist anymore.

Woops. I meant to write SuperDuperInc.com.
Sorry about that.
