ESL Bookshops in London

Post by benrajames » Mon Oct 03, 2005 5:14 pm

Does anyone know of a bookshop with a decent collection of ESL coursebooks (not just the usual headway and thats it!) in London. Im looking for a core textbook series that covers all levels of english. Ive tried Blackwells/Waterstones and some other well established places with no luck. I cant be the only one who wants to at least flip through the book before buying it!Do I need a specialist bookshop?

Thanks in advance for the help

The best place used to be KELTIC. I haven't been for a number of years so I can't vouch for it now but here is some info from their website (http://www.keltic.co.uk/shop/mainframe.asp) :

Come and Visit the KELTIC Bookshop

The KELTIC bookshop has been integrated with the St. Giles Educational Trust's Central London ELT Library

Come and browse through our extensive collection of ELT resources and pick up a copy of the KELTIC Guide to ELT Materials.

Bloomsbury,
London, WC1B 5AX

Telephone: 020 7833 2773
