Textbook for Elementary school students in Taiwan?

Post by JoanneW » Tue Jun 29, 2004 11:12 pm

I will be teaching English in Taiwan next year, and I'd like to purchase some preparatory material. I still don't know the exact grade or level of the students in my class. Any suggestions?

#1 suggestions:

"Grammar in Use" by Raymond Murphy
"Language Teaching Games and Contests" by W.R. Lee

There are some being sold on eBay:

There are many EFL institute in Taiwan that had edited books for elemantary school kids, you may also look for them in any larger bookstores (Hess, Eslite...etc) when you come to Taiwan. :)

I think that that's a rather good meathod.

it's hard to purchase books before you know the grade level...

I'd wait.
