Hello,
Does anybody have ideas for books for ESL students to read themselves in the following areas?
children's book
English conversation book
any autobiography of a famous businessman
They need to be relatively cheap, say, under $15.
Thanks in advance! |

I'm an English major from China and I have taken young adult literature for one semester. I think the following books are very interesting and worth reading:
Nothing but the truth (by AVI)
Are you there God, It's me, Magret! (Judy Bloom)
Hatchet
The outsiders (by S.H. Histon)
A Dday no pigs would die
Then again maybe I won't

i think you can choose some fairy tales as the children's book for example, the fairy tales of Anderson published by the Oxford University Press or the fairy tales of the Brothers Green also published by the Oxford University Press. |
