I am wondering if somebody can help me by suggesting a few effective strategies for teaching ESL learners in primary grades.

1 Always tell students that English is not difficult. They just need to use English in their daily lives as much as possible.
2 Give students some small gifts as a kind of encouragement.
3 Make sure that students could get enough input everyday.
