Infectious Communication: Utilized!

Post by ccunnings » Sun Oct 05, 2003 11:05 am

This program is designed and aims to achieve the optimum standards or guidelines in teaching or facilitating English classes to Chinese students.

It is called Infectious Communication: Utilized or has its acronym--ICU which is similar to intensive care unit. Infectious stands for being effective and result-oriented. This is ICU because this is a clinic, a workshop for teachers to achieve better results in studying and teaching the English language.

This particular clinic or workshop is given for five (5) days—four (4) hours a day/two (2) hours per session and has a total of twenty (20) training hours.

Topics in the following workshops are already tried and tested on its effectiveness.

Topics to be taken are:

*English words versus Chinese characters
*How American, British English differ?
*Reading Aloud Children’s Literature in the Classrooms
*Creating Drama in Poetry Reading
*Reinforcing Games in Learning English
*Readers’ Theater in English Classes
*Performing Oral Interpretation
*A Dynamic Treat: Novels and Films

I have developed this workshop on my own. If you are interested about this, just email me at [email protected] =)
