Bit of software to save some drilling...

Post by eslweb » Fri Dec 22, 2006 10:14 am

I've finally cracked Flash and managed to make my first bit of software... I hope it helps you guys with inane amount of drilling required for certain phonemes. You can find it on the page: http://www.jamesabela.co.uk/beginner/Pronunciation.html

I've already used it with my Japanese students and it seems to make a big difference...

James

P.S. It is freeware, no strings attached...

Hmm oddly enough, it won't load. Granted I'm using Mac OSX and Safari, but I never have trouble with any Flash stuff that I do. I don't know why yours doesn't show up.

Flash File won't load

I'm afraid I don't have access to a mac to check your configuration, but it has been checked on both Firefox and IE7 on the PC.

You need to have Flash 6 & above installed, I checked it on Flash 8 & 9. If you need an upgrade, you can find it here for Macs: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

Just in case it's a browser problem, try the direct url to the SWF:

If all that fails, send me a Private Message and I'll try and work it out...

James

P.S. The executable will only work with a PC.
