Can anyone comment on experiences with teaching fellowship programs in Texas or elsewhere? I've been researching such programs in the south/ southwestern states and was wondering what teachers who have completed or are currently involved with them thought. I've seen such programs in New Orleans, Dallas, etc.
I have a M.Ed. in TESOL, which I know excludes me from being employed by some of them, but I don't have a teaching certification so I'd still like to try working in a high-need area if they'll have me.
