Learning Conversation with a Business English author

You are invited into a virtual classroom to ask Vicki Hollet questions and discuss her work, the books she has written and how she would teach the books. All you need is internet connection and a headset/microphone. The Learning conversation is set for Monday, June 8, 2009.

Vicki Hollett is the author of a number of Business English coursebooks including Business Objectives and Business Opportunities, both First Prize winners in the English Speaking Union's Duke of Edinburgh Book Competition. She is also the author of the Tech Talk series, two levels of the Quick Work series, In at the Deep End, along with two video courses: Meeting Objectives and The Jericho Conspiracy, all published by Oxford University Press.

She has trained teachers on for the LCCI’s Diploma in Teaching English for Business and run workshops for teachers at many institutions in Europe, Asia and South America.

British by birth, she currently lives in Philadelphia where she is teaching at the University of Pennsylvania and learning to speak ‘merican
