Post by chawa manyathelo » Thu Nov 26, 2009 10:15 pm

I am Chawa Manyathelo student teacher at Franciston College of Technical Vocational and Eduction in Botswana doing Diploma in Education. May you please assist me in defining what a session plan / lesson plan is. May you again explain what are the key points contatined in a lesson plan?

Your cooperation is highly apprecaited.
Thank you.

Hi Chawa!

My name is Christa and I'm a student teacher at Arcadia University. From my experience, a lesson plan is a document used to describe exactly what goes on during a lesson. It includes materials used, teacher preparation steps, expected time each section will take, assessments, reflections about the lesson. Each section is highly explained so that if someone needed to conduct your lesson instead of you, they would be able to do it exactly as you would.

Dear Colleagues!

An online journal English for Specific Purposes World (ESP World) has a lot of articles on different ESP areas, methods etc.
Also I would like to invite ESP specialists to join the group EngliSP at Yahoo group and not only ask but answer questions!
