First of all, thanks for reading my post hopefully you can provide me with some answers, to my questions.

I have been working as a teacher in Korea for the past 3 years, and I have decided that I want to pursue teaching ESL as my career, even if I go back to the States.

I want to get further educated, as I am getting older, and the job market is shrinking. I would like to start securing my future now.

Which path do I take? How important are these teaching certificates? Should I get a teaching certificate, and then complete my M.A.

I have no idea about these things, and would greatly appreciate any input that anyone could give.

If I do get a certification, which one should I get? TEFL, TESL, CELTA.

Please respond if you have any info for me.

Thanks Again,
Jason
