Miriam Lavi, Founder

We are proud to announce the new Kindle edition of our popular
E-Guide: How to Become a Personal ESL Trainer.
First published in 2003, this jargon free, highly practical, user friendly guide is regarded as a unique phenomenon in 'English as a Second Language' circles.

Addressing the tens of thousands of native English speakers now living in non-English speaking locations, the guide presents a tried and true methodology (accompanied by clear cut advice on finding students, 'setting up shop' and so on) for those wishing to successfully break into the most rewarding - and most lucrative – market in the field of ESL: Personal Training (teaching adults 1:1). And, although certification can be helpful in this area, it is by no means necessary.

The author has brought to this manual close to forty-five years of experience in the field of ESL. She is licensed to teach ESL on the high school level both in NYC and Israel, and has done both. She owned an operated an English language institute for over twenty-five years. Most recently, she taught English majors at a university in South China for a year and a half – concurrently teaching English communications skills on three levels (for one semester) at a government research institute on campus. She holds LICC international certification to teach ‘English to Professionals’. And, most importantly, she has done a considerable amount of the kind of personal ESL training she advocates in her E-guide.

The second edition of 'How to Become a Personal ESL Trainer' is now available in the Kindle Store at Amazon.com and is still available as a download from our site: www.esltrainers.com
