I need to get some topiramate aka Topamax and know that the hospitals mark up medications much higher than pharmacies. The problems is I'm also worried about getting fake medication. I believe topiramate is available OTC in Thailand.
Any reputable pharmacies that anyone can recommend? |

South East Pharmacy. 207-9 Soi 15, Sukhumvit Road. Phone number: 02 252-8241.
It's between Soi 15 and Robinson's on Sukhumvit. If they don't have the medicine you want, they will try to get it for you. Never had a problem with them in many years of living in Bangkok.
Make sure you go into the right pharmacy as there is another one (closer to Robinson's) in the walk between Soi 15 and Robinson's. South East is the one with the large selection of newspapers out front.
Ask for their email when you are there and you can save yourself some time in the future.

Just thought I would post an update. Got a taxi to drop me off on soi 15. Had no problems finding the pharmacy was in and out in 1 minute. Staff was friendly, young man knew exactly what I wanted reached up and grabbed it off the shelf, came in manufacturers box from US. Here is the kicker:
60 pills Topamax from Bumrungrad - 2900 baht
60 pills Topamax from South East - 1540 baht
and thats not including the fact that the doctor wanted me to come see him again to get a refill which would of cost another 790 baht for the doctors visit.
