It would be nice if in you topic post, you said the name of the college. Why should we open a post about a school if we don't know the name.

Also, what do you want to know about it?

It's a school. It's name is Cheng Gong. It has nothing to do with the Henan Uni of Finance, except that it is a new private college, and must be listed under another public uni's name.

It was founded by the Founder of ShengDa, who was born in GongYi, I believe

1. This other board I write to sometimes has that rule. Habit.

2. That's just what I wanted to know. Other stuff would be any major complaints, do they pay on time/screens on the windows/ weird rules/class size/audio visual in the classrooms/computers & printers in the teachers apts./anything a new teacher there would need.

That's really interesting -- same guy as Shengda. I'm trying to go back to Taiwan, but this place looks good if I stay in China for a sem. more. Thanks. Mary Ann

ShengDa is marketed to richer, better students. Cheng Gong is the opposite. The founder wanted to help poorer students. Much lower tuition, slightly larger classes, the students probably not as good.
The campus is only a few years old, the pollution worse then ShengDa, ShengDA is a ways from the pollution (except their own coal plant). They will give you as many extra hours as you could ever want
