Hi everyone,
Would it make any difference if I got an MA in TESOL vs an MS in TESOL? Obviously its the same thing but I wanted to know if they have a preference in KSA?
Thanks! |

It doesn't really matter, it depends on the requirements of the place you are applying to. However as the Kingdom is perennially short of language teachers, they take on pretty well anybody. I even heard of one recruiting company that faked some of the qualifications of the candidates. |

If you do plan to go on for a doctoral degree many programs allow for units from you MA to be used toward the completion of a doctoral degree. If that is something you are considering doing then maybe pick the one that will satisfy the most units toward that future objective. Otherwise I don't see the difference. |
