Has anyone had experience in obtaining a visa for their Chinese spouse (on a Chinese passport). I believe after a job offer, I apply for a non B visa and my spouse can apply for a O visa to accompany me. Sounds ok in theory, but has anyone done it. My passport is Australian. Thanks.

Provided you are legally married (and have a legalized marriage certificate to prove it) there is no problem getting a non-o for the wife after you have your non-b.

I dont know the exact details, but I would suggest that you bring originals of any legal documents showing that you are married. You will have to get them translated into Thai once you get here.

The foreign office (and immigration) will accept the documents in English as well as Thai. They DO need to be legalized (apostille or embassy seal) from the country that issued it.
