What's your base-line? Changed from what? I know plenty of people who are happy to work there.
Several people's careers and lives generally got messed up by the nonsense idea of transferring the foundation programme to HCT - that was in 2010. Some came back to Al Ain after a year (Sept 2011), a small number stayed with HCT, some resigned as soon as they could, and some were fired/non-renewed. But I think the dust has settled where the Foundation Programme (UGRU) is concerned.
At Faculty level there's a fair bit of discontent in some places. The Provost is always chasing after his latest means of getting UAEU higher up the University rankings and policies change from semester to semester.
