Hi all

I am attempting to register with ADEC online using a created username and password, as I do not have a UAE residence card. Is this possible to do for non-residents of the UAE? Each time I try to enter in my personal information, I get a message that says only UAE phone numbers are supported. Yet, the phone number is a required field.

I am looking to post my CV with ADEC and would like to search their job listings for a possible ESL/EFL teacher training opportunity. Could anyone provide a link for registration for a non UAE resident?

Or does anybody have any advice for how I should go about attempting to register and search for positions?

Any response here would be greatly appreciated!

You may need to go through a recruiter. Did you check the Teach Away website to see if they were hiring for those positions?

Good advice...from what I hear...good recruiter.

It's about all I got! (Actually, I'm good mates with the fella who runs the English program. Wink )

Should you be printing someone's email address here so that the spam bots can pick it up and fill his email box? Laughing

Perhaps you should edit it into something less recognizable?

Yes, you have to go through a recruiter. I used Teach Away and am quite satisfied in my position here. (I teach high school girls in Abu Dhabi.)

Other recruiters are Caneducom, TeachAnywhere (maybe - ADEC may have cancelled their contract, I don't remember) and AIDCINC (which is really just Caneducom's US branch).

Get your CV in now, as the first round of contracts for Sept 2012 just went out! They'll do more interviews possibly in March-April and June-ish.
