She was arrested by immigration for working on a tourist visa for 20 years. Do you think this was an isolated arrest or are immigration on the prowl again?

Not much info., but, it seems she was arrested for working illegally here.

If you're here legally, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

It doesn't actually say she was working on a tourist visa for 20 years but had been in Indonesia for that amount of time. Also a visa kunjungan usually refers to a SosBud or a Business visa.

I wonder if she was on the wrong visa as The ministry of Education have been stalling work permits for heads if there are in charge of schools for more than one level. Eg they can only be a primary head not a Principal/Head in charge of a school that goes from Primary through to high school. A big problem for many international schools as this is how they are set up. This is due to the newer education bill that they past in 2009 I believe.

I know the Principal where I work mentioned the other month that he had been on a SosBud visa for 2 months because they had stalled his visa. I'm presuming the problem was made to go away (for at least this year anyway) as he now has a KITAS.

Ok I take it back perhaps she is on only a tourist visa. As it says in this article the visa was only for one month.

I'm sure there will be more in the next few days.
