I have to be honest. I'm a little put off helping others when every western girl that sets foot in China is villainized. I'm not fat nor female but wow, no wonder some people can't make it back at home.  |

What on earth are you on about? This has nothing to do with her being female. My other co teacher was female btw.

If you don't buy into this forum's unofficial police policies that FTs are usually the troublemakers and we only cause our own problems then you will be ridiculed/ attacked. |

To be fair, I reckon about half the posters in this thread made a genuine effort to contribute helpful advice. To them I am grateful.
I have to say though, the small mindedness and bitterness displayed by some people on here is a little disappointing/ surprising. |

It really was. If anyone else attempts cheap pot shots like that they'll receive a similar response.
I know the poor lad was only projecting his own feelings of worthlessness, but I still won't abide it. |

Tefl Novice is no longer with us.
Some other members contributing to this thread obviously have this board confused with others they may visit that do not have a Mod Team that enforces board rules and policies.
Continued confusion on the part of these members will adversely affect their tenure on this board.
