You're welcome. The anonymity of the internet takes away the consequences of being a nob. Even if you are removed from a forum, you can come back with a new identity.
Although it wouldn't solve the problem completely, and would perhaps take to much time and resources, policing IP addresses would make people work harder to be online nobs regularly.
To get back on topic... About the books at least, www.amazon.cn is a good place to get books. You pay upon delivery so those who fear online shopping in China can feel at ease with their orders. And unless you have a TV/internet addiction you won't read fast enough for it to be expensive!
It is unlikely that a university library in China will have enough interesting books to satisfy a heavy reader. Although in my city (Hefei) there is a coffee shop run by my friend - The Shipyard - with an impressive selection of books. Much more impressive than any bookshop I've been to in China. |
