Surprisingly, this is actually not true, despite my own supposition that it was during the last elections. Back in 2006 there were polls on the voting habits of that presidential race, and yes, DF went for AMLO in a big way but what was remarkable was his large swarth of support throughout the demographics and different levels of education.
Here in the Yucatan, despite its relative poverty vis a vis the rest of the country, has a very weak PRD party system. PRI has been the major party here and is still so. |
