Hello, everone!
I am a citizen of the US and Ireland with passports from both. I am 38 this year, married and about to finish an MA in Spanish literature from a good American university. I have a BA in English literature from an American public university, a masters in TESOL from that same university and a second B.A. in Spanish and French from the university where I am currently finishing my second MA.
As for experience, I have been teaching since 1997. I began in Seoul, then did volunteer work as an ESL teacher in NYC for four months. I taught business English in Paris for nearly three years. I have been a teaching assistant in the Spanish department at the university I am curently attending for nearly four years. In addition, I started teaching ESL and English 101/102 at the local community college last semester.
I have received very positive reviews over the years and I thoroughly enjoy teaching. I have lived abroad and I have traveled in the Islamic world as well, most recently in Pakistan, Iran and Tunisia.
What I'd like to know is this: what type of job could I expect to get with two BAs and two MAs, plus a decade of experience? Also, what would my salary be about?
I realize that I am asking a lot, but I can reciprocate as I have a lot of information regarding teaching in Paris and Seoul; so, if you have any questions about those destinations, please feel free to ask me. Thank you for your time.
Ted

P.S. My wife would stay back here in the States if I am away on a one-year contract. We would communicate by Skype nightly and meet in Dubai halfway through my contract.

Although you have multiple degrees, employers will only consider your MA in TESOL and TEFL-related teaching experience; your other education won't add anything to your qualifications or salary. Also, employers typically look for a CELTA or equivalent, face-to-face TEFL certificate. I don't know if you have a cert, but if your MA didn't include a practical component (in TESL/TEFL), it could be an issue if the employer states it's a requirement. Salary is based on the number of years you taught EFL; however, some employers will factor in verified, non-TEFL work experience when determining salary but not at full value.

You can get an idea of the general salary/salary ranges and of specific qualifications by checking out the umpteen job ads currently posted by Saudi institutes and universities at TESOL.org, higheredjobs.com, and on the TESOL Arabia website.

Thank you for your reply. My M.Ed. is in teaching English as a second language to adult learners. I acquired it in 2001. I had an internship as an ESL instructor for one semester. I then taught executives in Paris for nearly three years.
I have been looking at the ads and have seen a few promising leads. I also have some co-workers who have spent time in KSA and have offered to help me in my quest.
