Anyone know this place ... Im not asking for me, but for a Chinese colleague who is due to interview for this place via Skype. She cant find too much online so I wondered if the good folks at Daves might know it.

Based in Nan Chong City Yi long County, if anyone knows of it?

New Interchange is a 4 level (yellow, red, green, blue) Spoken English course that also includes grammar and writing. Unless they've updated the books recently, some of the lessons are definitely not keeping up with the times, but it's a fairly comprehensive course if one were to follow it from beginning to end. It mainly targets high school and college level students who are studying English (although I've used it teaching adults when I did a brief part-time stint at a language school).

So, can't tell you at all about the school, but you could probably research the curriculum online. Also, you may want to ask them if they are actually using this series or did they just borrow the name to make their school seem cool or something. If they are using the series and they have all the materials (teacher's texts, listening CDs, etc.), then it would be a fairly easy course to teach . . . probably.

I know of Nanchong, but not Yilong county. It is a decent city, but Yilong might be far from it. Do you have the Chinese characters for the Yilong part. Just trying to locate it on a map.

Anyway, Nanchong is an alright place, just a typical city outside the provincial capital. It is less than an hour to Chengdu, on the high speed train. Quick trip to Chongqing as well.

The only Chinese I have is 南充市仪陇剑桥英语培训学校。Which I think is just the schools name and town.

Kev7161 - I know the Interchange series...my guess is the school have just 'borrowed' the name. The job isnt for me though, its a Chinese friend of mine and I thought I would ask here as someone may have passed through or heard of the place. It may not even be the type of place that has foreign teachers. Maybe she needs to ask a few more questions of the place directly.

Looking at the map, the place is quite far from the city. I would guess it would be a half hour trip into town.

I have never been there so I cannot really comment on the place, maybe no need to go into town.
