I am a convert, and that might actually be a good reason not to spend more time in Saudi than is necessary for umra or hajj. The Saudi interpretation of Islam is enough to make one reconsider. We have to see beyond them. For example, "it is against Islam to protest against the abuses of the monarchy." How gullible do they think we are?
