I agree with the opinion that they'd like a bit of grammar and such in every (or most) lessons. I find this always to be true. Especially students who say at the outset that they want only conversation! They soon find that now and then one really must sit down and slog through some grammar exercises. So a good site for source material if you need any is:
http://www.englisch-hilfen.de/en/
It can be accessed in German as well, you will see.

I see that Johnslat has recommended the same website.

And sure it would be great if you could take them out somewhere, I would only warn make it something Irish. For example, visit a castle, drink good beer- they can do that at home and it wouldn't be very interesting. You will need to find something uniquely Irish for them to do, like go to a safari park and hunt leprechauns. Well, you'll know better than anyone what that activity/outing might be.

Urgh! Leprechauns! Take them down to the pub and have them listen to some sean nos. Won't have seen that in Germany. Or too many other places.

Eihpos, where you based? Dublin? A trip to the GPO is essential then.

But then what do you do for the next two days and 23 hours?
