I can't believe that speaking with foreigners would still be an issue for Party members nowadays, especially after the "Three Represents" and two and a half decades of reform and opening up. Probably those three girls were just making an excuse, or else they are still young, naive, and idealistic. Back in my undergrad days in the States, I remember a college classmate of mine who was an Air Force ROTC cadet. He was concerned about whether or not it was O.K. to associate with the Chinese students on campus, and whether or not he should wear his ROTC uniform to Chinese language class (taught by a mainland professor). But his commanding officer had no problem with it and informed him that China and the U.S. have normal relations. I think the young nationalists can be more nationalistic and idealistic than the older and more experienced nationalists.

Truth is, local Party officials often mingle with foreigners. This adds more to their prestige. I was invited to dinner by two Party officials during my stay in China. One was in Shenyang, the other was in the Dalian Economic Development Zone. The only Party members that tend to shy away from foreigners are uniformed police and military, but when not wearing the uniform, some of them don't mind conversing with foreigners. One of the adult students in the private language training school I worked for was a P.L.A. officer.

Well I, to whom the vinegared sponge is passed almost every day, know.

Yes, appears in John, too. Synoptic, you know.

Thanx for caring.

Dear laodeng,
Huh? What culpa are you regretting?
Regards,
John
Dear La Paz,
It's not called the "Good Book" for nothing, you know. A review of the Sermon on the Mount might not be amiss, not to mention the part about forgiving your enemies. Don't confuse Jesus with "established religions".
Regards,
John

John, the culpa to which La Paz (doesn't that mean "peace" in Spanish?) was apparently reacting.

I'm afraid not to understand your sudden intervention. Is it a cry for attention?

I am writing the good Johnslat to dedicate you a poem

Your problem is that you do know how to read, why dont you run across the street that will teach you

You are indeed the classic signs of a child that is been neglected.Who is jealous

I could insult you as you expected me to do so, but what you really need are methods to deal with your problems. First you are acting out because you feel that you can't have any proper dialogue with me.

Clearly, you realize that it is okay to insult who I am, and by such you show any of the perfectly normal feelings of anger you must naturally experienced as yourself been ignored from my previous posts.

This is a very common reaction from the lost globtrotter, pothead, and easy girl like you are

However, where is that anger to go? If it doesn't have an outlet toward its real cause, it has to come out somewhere. Therefore, you are taking it out on me.
Moreover, what better way to make sure that gingermeggs becomes the center of attention than to jump into an adult conversation?

What you need to do is to politely verbalize some of these normal resentments. You are probably feeling useless, and that it is unfair to have some other taking up so much of the forum' spot light

When you are able to safely release some of your angry feelings toward me, then you will be able to stop feeling the "pain" (Are you women enough?)

The forum should let you know how much it appreciates your company.
It is important for you to see how wonderful it is to be the big girl rather than a drug addicted, lost rodent in China like you are!

Please, keep thumping your bible and keep your pew jumping to your selves and your fictional character of Jesus. I like to refer to him as Jebez.

The good book?

More like the one bad read book.

Alas, vicky....you are sounding more like laurent every post....

I'm afraid not to understand your sudden intervention.
Does that mean you DO understand?

I am writing the good Johnslat to dedicate you a poem
I'm sure Johnslat writes a good poem

Your problem is that you do know how to read, Yes, indeed. It is a big problem.

why dont you run across the street that will teach you

There are some of the examples why a "proper" dialogue with you is impossible.

Such wonderful insight from one so normally incoherent. Have you been taking lessons? I haven't experienced "anger" since I arrived in China. I am the most wonderfully serene individual there is.

Yes, vicky.. I posted your drivel..did you read my corrections?
Speaking of "full exposure"...you are the one exposing yourself..exposing your ignorance, your intolerance, your arrogance, and now your anger.
What, by the way, is a "little slot"?
