Hi All,

Been a while.

Can anybody recommend a good area that is within 30minutes by foot of Ebisu?

Preferably an area where I can find a 2ldk (+70sqm) for <250y/month?

Thoughts? Ideas? Is it doable?

Secondary to the above, parks are ideal (I like to jog).

Plenty of cheap eats and mid-range food options are also a big plus (nearly a must have to be honest).

I'm open to any recommendation of housing agencies that you can recommend, as well.

Thanks in advance and feedback is appreciated.

Btw, if a 30 minute walk isn't doable, than a 15-20 minute train ride would also be an option.

Less than Y250 per month might be a little tricky. Want to help and tell us if you meant "less than 25,000" or "less than 250,000". Unless you really did mean less than Y250, in which case even I can tell you that you might be in for a wee shock.

Have you tried any of the hundreds of real estate websites?

Hah. Sorry, that's 250k. Very Happy

Firstly, I've tried some of the ones geared towards foreigners, but I'm guessing they are adding a premium cushion to the prices (some don't even have the option to select under 250k).

Secondly, even if I do see a site, I haven't the slightest idea if it is reputable or not (so I really welcome suggestions).

Lastly, even beyond that, that doesn't tell me much in the way of whether an area is a good place or not. I understand liking a place is a personal opinion, but that is exactly what I'm asking for - people's opinions (again, suggestions). Smile

Any suggestions you or anybody else may have are very welcome.

If it isn't a doable, than that too is okay - but then at least I know what I'm looking at and getting into a bit.

www.chintai.net & http://minimini.jp

Personally, I like minimini more because I find it easier to use, but YMMV.

The catch is that minimini is a chain whereas chintai.net is simply a site with listings from every chain.

What's the catch? They wanted apartment listings.
