Just sent my CV off to KFUPM. Heard nowt. Think I sent it it a while ago too. Disregarded the previous applicants need not apply. Also the present advert on dave's mentions letters of no objection may be required.
I left KSU less than two years ago. Will KFUPM have a problem with this? |

Now that you have drawn attention to yourself by posting here, they will ask for it. |

But, how would KFUPM know who desertdawg is?
Also, who really checks these boards except rank & file EFL teachers.
Do any managers, directors, administrators, or visa-issuers really look here?

Yes. There have been a number of cases of people having their applications at various employers get nixed because of their postings here.

How does the managers or HR people know it is the applicant? I go out of my way to mask my true identity! |

Many people use their own names... or post information here that makes them easily identifiable from their CV or application letter.
It is smart to try to mask your identity. But if you ask about employer X... then someone there knows that you are in their pile. Are you asking about family issues... schools for the kiddies... conditions for your Asian spouse... previous posts on other boards can identify your previous positions.
It really doesn't take much detective work for someone with more than 10 or so posts here.
